The CLASSIC discs:

The aluminium brake hub is machined from solid,with anodised finish.Rotor is mounted by 12 bobbins made from special low friction steel.
The initial play in the floating disc(necessary for best performance) remains constant throughout its working life.
These discs have drilled braking surface for road or sport use.
For race use it is highly recommended to use the AERONAL disc.

The AERONAL disc

The cast iron rotor allows a faster dissipation of heat than stainless used by most manufacturers
(because of the lower cost).Beringer has also developed a grey cast iron alloy and special heat treatments that assure total reliability of the disc even in very hard conditions.
The cast iron rotors are covered with a anti corrosion"aluminium plasma"
A 20% saving of weight:the disc can reach much higher temperatures and can be used with sintered pads,thanks to narrow braking surfaces without holes.
The hub is manufactured out of a high performance aluminium alloy ,used in aeronautics.
The gyroscopic inertia is appreciably reduced by the use of narrow braking surfaces and 6 bobbins instead of 12,improving the manoeuvrability of the bike.
